Job description:
Wage: $38.91 per hour (full-time 40 hour/week) + benefits according to Union collective agreement
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area and Province of Ontario
Job Description:
- Concrete finishing; cutting and coring concrete; curing concrete; apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces;
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, balconies and other structures;
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures and all other duties as required
- Checking, setting forms that hold concrete in place.
- Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues.
- Pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed
- Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates in freshly poured concrete
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions & be trained
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Capable of working in a fast-paced labour-intensive environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs without strain
- Some Experience in concrete finishing required
