We are currently searching for one Project Administrator Officer.

The Project Administrator Officer will assist with overall project performance, including costs, schedule, quality, and project status. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with sub-trades and clients. Manage change order processes, including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts. Develop performance status reports regarding cost forecasts, schedules, and safety. Establish project safety programs and provide proactive leadership. Be involved in all facets of project start-up and close-out, including but not limited to ensuring proper documentation is collected and submitted to internal personnel.

 

Duties:

  • Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
  •  Resolve conflict situations
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Collaborate and keep the lines of communication open and contracted trades
  • Involved in creating a schedule and labor plan for the project, and updating it with changes in real time
  • Supply sourcing, including effectively collecting, reviewing, and analyzing quotes with emphasis on competitive pricing
  • Following internal company procedure and ensuring project documentation is submitted to the correct personnel within every stage of the project
  • Responsible for submitting permits to obtain the necessary municipal consents
  • Prepare and maintain timesheets
  • Prepare and submit weekly project reports
  • Liaise with building authorities and regulatory agencies
    • Maintaining trackers for project statuses to ensure all revisions are recorded
    • Managing and supporting multiple projects within varying locations at one time.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as required
    • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting contracting and project planning and management processes.
    • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
    • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.

 

Skills requirements:

  • college diploma in business or public administration
  • 1 year to less than 2 years’ work experience with construction projects
