Holiday Season Travel

We are currently searching for an experienced Travel Clerk Supervisor.
Job Duties:
Our candidate will have the following:
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential direct clients and groups
- Understand the client’s need and build a proposal for each particularity
- Evaluate the price of services and make the best revenue
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work
- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities workers
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
- Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Supervise groups and retail team members on a daily basis as required
- Communicate statistical data to team members and encourage / motivate them to achieve objectives
- Define strategies to help employees increase sales and improve their quality of customer service as well as their ability to work in groups
- Identify and implement a training plan, working with Training Manager, to address performance issues and quality sales service
- Identify problems and resolve them as soon as possible
- Keep abreast of the latest products, services, promotions, procedures, and technologies
- Respond to internal request forms
- Process group bookings with accuracy and detail and re-book clients if required
- Create and maintain accurate invoices for every group booking in Client LINQ
- Conduct staff performance and call quality appraisal
- Perform administrative duties as required
- Achieve the results and objectives of the call center
- Collect feedback, solve problems between employees and then identify and implement improvement measures
- Respond to escalated calls
- Create a positive working environment to ensure a good level of motivation, ensure good customer service and avoid frequent rotation of staff
Skills requirements:
- 1-2 years of work experience
- A diploma in Tourism or a related field
- Previous experience with supervision
- Previous experience related to international travel and/or international sales.
- Previous experience with the Tourism
- Knowledge of South and Central American Tourism Market.
- Microsoft Office/Excel is required.
- Knowledge of GDS – Amadeus System
- TICO Certify
- Experience in and knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
- Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are required

Hour of work:
From Monday to Friday
The shift is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Terms of employment:
Permanent Position from 40 hours per week

From $ 28.39 to $ 32.00 per hour
