Tech Advisory Solutions requires one Network Support Technician at Medicine Hat AB to serve its clients
Location - 640 3rd Street SE Medicine Hat, AB
One, Full time, Permanent position
Education- Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration
Work experience - 2-3 years of work experience in the relevant areas of IT support/ Network Administration
Wages- 22$ Hourly for 35-40 hrs a week
Duties -
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet, and peripheral equipment
- Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software, and software applications
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks
- Provide problem-solving services to network users
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down and maintain control records for audit and troubleshooting
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations for business clients
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls of network devices
- Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks for technical troubleshooting
- Dashboard reports for management reporting
