We are a warm and welcoming family, currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate home child care provider to join our household. Please see the following information.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a safe, clean and caring environment for the child.
- Prepare nutritional food and snack selections for the child.
- Plan and supervise structured, educational activities, and playtime.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and children.
- Promote child's emotional and social development, understanding of others and self-actualization.
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Keep up-to-date records of children’s development, routines, and interest.
- When necessary, administer first-aid or CPR to children.
Job Details:
- Wage: $19.00 per hour, 30 hours per week
- Employment Type: Terms or contract; Full-time
- Location: 227 Connaught Ave, North York, ON M2M 1H6
- Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary (high school) education is required.
- Minimum 6 months’ previous experience in the field and/or full-time education/training in the field.
- First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset.
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
- Must be reliable, organized and flexible.
