Truck driver, heavy truck
Various locations:
1191 Eglinton Ave East, Mississauga, , ON L4W 1K6; Brampton, , ON L6T 3W6.
Workplace information:
On site (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely).
Salary:
$26.06 to $28.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
Working hours:
40 to 60 hours per Week

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
Experience an asset
Responsibilities:
Load and unload goods
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Credentials:
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
AZ class license
Air Brakes Endorsement
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Experience and specialization:
Documentation knowledge
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Communication systems experience
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Additional information:
