Northern Inn is currently seeking a proactive and team-oriented Food Service Supervisor to ensure smooth restaurant operation of Northern Motor Inn.

Position Title: Food Service Supervisor
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1
Wage: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation
Responsibility:
? Oversee employees in the Food and Beverage section;
? Establish work schedules and assess employees work performance;
? Monitor, estimate and order the necessary ingredients and supplies required for daily meal preparation in a timely manner;
? Train staff on job responsibilities, sanitation and safely procedures, and ensure adherence to these practices;
? Ensure that customer service and food quality align with the standard of Northern Motor Inn;
? Communicate any food allergies or special requests from customers to the kitchen staffs;
? Maintain records of inventory, supplies, food waste, and restaurant sales;
? Contribute to the development of sanitation and safety standards and ensure their effective implementation.
Qualification:
? Completion of secondary school is usually required;
? Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
OR
? Since this is a supervisory position, at least 1 + year of working experience in food preparation or service are required;
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a great team player;
? Working knowledge of English;
