Wage rate: $31.50/Hour, 40.00 hours per week.
Education: High School an asset
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 year’s experience is required.
Language: Basic English.
Job Duties:
- Use connectors, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or brazing, soldering, and welding tools to join pipes.
- Use gauges for water and air pressure to check pipes for leaks.
- Adjusts pipe, fixture, and other plumbing material lengths to suit a building's needs.
- Uses pipe cutters and saws as needed.
- Create openings in the floors and walls to suit pipes and pipe fittings.
- Use power equipment and hand tools to measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes.
- Install, fix, and keep up plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Examine blueprints, plans, and specifications to ascertain the plumbing, waste, and drainage system layouts as well as the water supply network.
