Job Title: Warehouse worker - material handling (NOC 75101)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, full-time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

No of Positions: 4

Job Duties:

• Operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, loaders and other equipment to load and unload products; transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks to the warehouse
• Store and organize products in warehouse by sorting, boxing and stacking various products such as wheels, rims, etc.
• Pick and assemble orders and check the accuracy of customer orders after packing
• Make labels and attach to orders
• Inspect the paint on wheels, rims and other products and apply touch-ups as needed and prepare products ready for shipment
• Assist in building and assembling sturdy custom pallets for transporting and storing goods
• Perform other warehouse worker activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: No Formal Education required.

Experience: No Experience required.

***Experience working in a warehouse would be considered an asset.

Language: Basic English is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding requires bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, requires lifting, Pulling, and carrying of equipment and other objects, standing for long period of time, hand-eye co-ordination.

Personal Suitability:

• Strong work ethics, dependable and reliable
• Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to do physical work for long shifts.
