Job Description
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time, shift, weekend and evening hours
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, over time to start after 40 hours.
Job Duties:
Supervise employees engaged in serving food and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.
The supervisor will assign and coordinate the work of employees to promote the efficiency of the food service.
Maintain upkeep and safety and sanitation standard at the highest level and ensure compliance with all regulatory boards.
Respond to customer issues and requests to ensure excellence in customer service is being provided.
Organize the daily closing activities for the unit, including cleaning, dishwashing, and food storage.
Requisition and inspects foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met.
Responsible for inventory and money control systems and establishing an inventory schedule.
Prepare work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees.
Keep records, such as amounts, and cost of meals served and hours of work by employees.
May Assist in interview, selection & hiring of new employees.
May Assist in planning weekly top listed food items menu.
Requirements:
Completion of High School education is required
A minimum of 1-year experience in food service is required
