We are currently looking for two experienced Insulation Installers to join our team.

Position Details:

Position: Insulation Installer

Salary: $28.85 per hour

Number of Positions: 2

Term of Employment: Full time; Permanent

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Work locations(s): Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties:    

• Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to assess insulation requirements and determine the best type and amount of insulation to use.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Apply and secure insulation using various methods such as spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials.
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.

Job Requirements:

•  Completion of Secondary school.
•  Completion of a 3-4-year apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of work

     experience in the trade.

•  Ability to communicate in English.
