Salary: $18.00 / hour

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours/week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: One year or more years of work experience

Specific Skills:

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods
