JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our growing team. As a Web Developer at Omnidigi Inc., you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our company's websites and web applications. You will be responsible for building user-friendly interfaces, optimizing site performance, and collaborating with our design and marketing teams to enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality digital experiences.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Languages: C#, Angular 9, HTML5

JOB TITLE: Web Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

  • Design, code, modify, and test website functionalities and web application interfaces to ensure seamless performance and user engagement.
  • Perform thorough testing and analysis to assess the quality, security, and user experience, while identifying and implementing areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Establish and maintain procedures for regular website updates and revisions, ensuring content and features remain current and functional.
  • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot website performance, ensuring smooth functionality, fast load times, and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with designers, clients, and stakeholders to contribute to website architecture and design, ensuring it aligns with user requirements and brand objectives.
  • Research and assess various interactive media and software tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends to recommend new solutions and best practices.
  • Optimize websites for SEO and mobile responsiveness to improve search engine rankings and provide a consistent experience across devices.
  • Maintain documentation of website structure, processes, and coding practices for future reference and scalability.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer programming, web development or software engineering or completion of a college program in computer science or related field is usually required.
  • 2-3 years Experience as a computer programmer is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (designers, project managers, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in coding and testing.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Sit for extended periods working at a computer.
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies and best practices.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent Full-time, Long-term.

 

WAGES:  $38.50/Hour

HOURS OF WORK: 
40 hours per week

 

OVERTIME: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.

 

BENEFITS PACKAGE:

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer.
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis.
