Moonrise Construction Ltd. located in Abbotsford, BC is delivering high quality residential and commercial services for all kinds of new construction and renovations in Lower Mainland since 2008.  The company is currently looking for 2 full-time Siding Installers for their growing team.

Position: Siding Installer

Number of positions: 2

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.85 per hour  

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work location(s): Various job locations in Abbotsford (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.

Position Requirements

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
