Continental Roofing is seeking to hire a full-time “Roofing Supervisor” for service department. The position is primarily responsible for making all necessary arrangements to schedule install/repair roofing crews including (but not limited to) the coordination of crew availability, client needs and timelines, company vehicles and materials required per appointment.

Work Location: 7464, Hume Avenue, Delta, BC, V4G 1C5 and various locations in lower mainland, BC.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare the crew schedule and coordinate the activities of assigned roofing team.  
• Oversee assigned crews and ensure that they work in accordance with company’s safety policies.
• Liaise with clients and site contacts and maintain an up-to-date data base of work orders and client information.
• Ensure all on site personnel comply with project procedures, work, and equipment maintenance rules.
• Resolve work related problems in an efficient and timely manner to improve productivity and quality.
• Keep record (electronic and hard copy) of assigned work projects and prepare work progress reports. Order materials and supplies as needed.
• Set up work order approvals in the system, schedules the work and coordinates details with the client.
• Assist in hiring of new team members and provide training regarding job duties and company’s safety policies.
• Implement strategies to meet work schedules.
• Suggest new methods to improve productivity and workers’ efficiency.
• Act as a back-up for Company Scheduler on scheduler plans and maintenance reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Completion of high school.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Personal suitability: reliability, team player, organized, excellent communication.
• Ability and willingness to work independently.
• Positive and cooperative attitude.
• Personal integrity and sense of responsibility.
