 Responsibilities

  • Calculate employee salaries and deductions, ensuring issuance of payroll cheques in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Track, record, and calculate depreciation for fixed assets to ensure precise reporting and compliance with financial accounting standards.
  • Regularly balance bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts to verify accuracy and correct discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll records, calculate wages, overtime, and taxes, and ensure timely payroll distribution.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Establish, maintain, and balance various financial accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and organization.
  • Track incoming and outgoing funds to help manage business liquidity.
  • Organize, record, and update financial transactions, ledgers, and databases to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Record day-to-day transactions and post accurate journal entries
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to provide insights into the company’s financial performance, aiding decision-making.
  • Accurately complete tax return documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and deadlines.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations, verifying that internal financial records align with external statements, and maintaining accurate and consistent financial records.
