Industrial Pharmacisy Specialist (NOC 3131)
Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours / week

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in research for the development of new medical and pharmaceutical supplies
• Formulate new pharmaceutical and medical products developed by medical researchers
• Co-ordinate clinical investigations of new medical and pharmaceutical products
• Control the quality of drug products during production to ensure that they meet standards of potency, purity, uniformity, stability and safety
• Develop information materials concerning the uses, properties and risks of particular product
• Promote pharmaceutical and medical products to health professionals
• Facilitate strategic planning and help the business to prioritize business needs per strategic importance, defining metrics, collaborating with the management and functions
• Develop and oversee measures/indicators related to outcomes of strategic planning initiatives
• Lead the implementation of strategic action plans including monitoring deliverables and assessing impact
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in healthcare or related field required
• A minimum of 10 years in a strategic role in a healthcare provider, pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry
• Experience with stakeholder and operational management, and partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams
• Excellent strategy and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of industry quality standards, compliance, regulations, certifications, etc
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work and communicate in multicultural environments
