Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening shift if required.

Primary Business Location: 463 W 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Y 3Z5

Work Location: 463 W 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Y 3Z5

Wage Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Language: English

Education:  High School Certification required, Food safe cert an asset.    

Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in the food industry is required.

Positions Available: 1

DUTIES:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address costumers’ complaints and concerns
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets

Working Conditions: Work under pressure, standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks
