Job description:
Shabodi Corp. located at 4 Robert Speck Pky, suite 240, Mississauga, ON, L4Z 1S1 requires 2 Software Developers on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 46.15 per hour for a minimum of 34 hours or above per week. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required as a Software Developer. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leaves will be provided.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Design code and test new software and advanced network product capabilities of company’s platform by using various programming languages such as Java, Golang.
- Testing and validation responsibilities for the development and maintenance of current software base, including enhancing the capabilities with new fixes and capabilities.
- Collaborate with team members to self-manage business value-based solutions for software from concept to market.
- Solicit customer feedback and improvements of product through participation in sprint review meetings.
- Work closely with Project Managers and members of the development team to develop detailed specification documents with clear deliverables and timelines and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and research advanced coding techniques that improve the quality of software written.
- Document key decisions, raise risks and get clarifications to resolve amicably.
- Any other relevant task.
Key skills that the candidate should possess:
Development Skills
- Minimum 1 to 2 years hands on experience with core Java & J2EE skills and well versed on design patterns and related frameworks.
- Experience with Microservices architectural pattern and Spring-Boot framework.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases. Experience data modelling for a large enterprise product.
- Good knowledge and experience of oAuth2 and related concepts including scopes, user roles; Good understanding of security including writing secure software, API security, and other security aspects.
- Experience installing, configuring, administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting message brokers, ESB such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. Good understanding of Event Driven Architecture with related patterns.
- Good understanding of concurrency problems and how to solve them in architecture and implementation.
- Experience working with cloud and containerization technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Good understanding of HTTP protocol with experience in HTTPs, HTTP2.
- Experienced in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Paired Programming
- Experience working with Scrum APM practices and tools including Jira, Confluence, Git etc.
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
