Job Description:
• Responsible to plan, manage and supervise a team of workers in the furniture warehouse.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and taking the required actions to develop such procedures.
• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of furniture supplies and inventories.
• Handling the queries or problems of members and enforcing corrective steps to improve the working environment
• Maintain hygienic storage of furniture and safeguard the handling of fragile items.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory control and allocation/dispatching responsibilities.
• Coordinate the warehouse furniture supply to the showroom and document the details.
• Responsible for ongoing training of workers in compliance with health and safety standards regarding equipment handling.
• Respond to any of the manager's inquiries and evaluate the performance of other workers
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Requirement:
• Completion of secondary education is required.
• Post Secondary Education and/or a minimum of 1-year experience in the field is required.
