Job description:
Job Title: 310T Mechanic
Location: Orangeville, ON, Milton, ON, Hamilton, ON, Aurora, ON
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs.
- Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts usage, and tracking repair times.
- Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of a vocational technical school program.
- Must hold a valid 310T license.
- Valid driver’s license required.
