Located in the Public Market on Granville Island, Celine's Fish and Chips offers only the finest fish the ocean has to offer. Enjoy the classic cod and chips or try something a little more adventurous, like deep-fried oysters or calamari. Lots of selection and lots of flavours – a seafood lover’s dream… To expand our business, we are hiring a full-time Restaurant Cashier.

We offer: C$18.00/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Plus gratuity

Job Requirement:

• Training is provided.
• Some work experience related is an asset.

Job Duties:

• Greet customers and create a welcoming environment.
• Introduce menu items and advice on menu selections to the customers on the phone or in person.
• Identify the price of menu items.
• Take orders and forward orders to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks to customers.
• Wrap and pack/put take-out items in bags.
• Give bills to customers and collect and process payments by cash, debit or credit card.
• Occasionally accept US dollar currency and do the conversion.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Answer phone calls for take-out orders and reservations.
• Calculate end-day payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• May order and maintain the inventory of utensils, napkins, serviettes, and beverages.
