We are looking to hire Designer (Industrial) for our Engineering firm in Surrey. Candidate should be self-motivated, able to perform with accuracy in pressured environments, having good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and can manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at a time.
*Create models using 3D modelling software.
*Review bid specifications, detailed drawings, technical manuals and bill of materials.
*Create technical engineering documentation such as manuals, SOPs and risk assessments.
*Communicate between an engineering team, production, sales and clients about projects.
*Provide technical calculations and direction to an engineering team.
*Consult with our other engineers to provide valuable input to key system designs.
*Analyze intended use of product and user preferences.
*Conduct research into cost, properties of production materials and methods of production.
*Develop manual and computer-assisted design (CAD) concepts, sketches or models for approval.
*Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct a prototype of design.
*Consult with engineers and production staff during the manufacturing stage.
Education: College/ Diploma
Experience: 2-3 Years
