Job description:
Title: Delivery Driver
One position available on full time permanent role
- Deliver products, load and unload products from your vehicle, and drive to and from our customers.
- Perform multidrop business to business deliveries.
- Ensure safe, responsible, and efficient performance of duties .
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regular safety checks of your equipment (Vehicle, pallet jack, etc.) to ensure safety at all times.
- Maintain driver’s logs and submit to safety department.
- Participate in group discussions including unit meetings, job briefings, safety meetings or process reviews.
- Work safely to prevent on the job accidents and injuries.
- Represent the business in a professional manner when on external customer sites.
- Engage with customers and providing high levels of customer service.
- Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Salary and Working Hours: $34.30 per Hour with minimum 40 hours per week.
Overtime Rate & Holiday pay: $51.45 per hour starting after 44 hours per week with 4% of gross pay.
Job Details:
Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
