Job Title: 3rd Year Apprentice
Location: Hamilton, ON
Shift:
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Friday, 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles, including cube vans, trailers, roll-off trucks, and tractors.
- Participate in hands-on training and mentorship to continue developing vehicle maintenance and repair skills.
- Support the completion of M5 inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on tires, hydraulics, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth shop operations and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience
- Must be a 3rd-year apprentice or higher
- Own tools
- Reliable transportation
- Waste experience is an asset.
