Job Opportunity: Installation & Repair Technician

Overview:
Builden is seeking Installation & Repair Technicians to join our team as TELUS subcontractors. This is a full-time position offering uncapped earning potential, with compensation based on a flat-rate model. Key Requirements:
• Vehicle: A white minivan, van, or SUV with a ladder rack.
• Tools: Must possess or acquire necessary tools for the role.
• Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
• Dispatch from home to customer locations using specific online applications.
• Contact customers prior to arrival and provide ETAs.
• Install and troubleshoot Internet, Optik TV, Home Phone, and Smart Home Security & Automation.
• Diagnose and repair cabling, including fiber, twisted pair, Cat5, and coaxial.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment.
• Stay updated with products, pricing, and technologies.
• Ensure all customer services are reliable using online test tools.
• Provide exceptional customer service during every visit.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and present yourself professionally.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Experience with low-voltage cabling (fiber optics, coaxial, etc.) is an asset.
• Proficient with hand tools, ladders, drills, and computer software.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Physically capable of lifting a 60lbs extension ladder and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Windows-based applications.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Technically inclined with a willingness to learn.
Schedule:
• 10-12 hour shifts, including weekends as needed.
Compensation:
• Competitive piece-rate pay with uncapped earning potential.
• Bonus program and lucrative sales commissions.
Additional Pay:
• Commission pay
