Job description:
Job Posting: Refrigeration Technician - Licensed Journeyman
Location: Windsor, ON
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Wage: depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems in both commercial and residential settings
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems
- Repair or replace defective components as needed
- Test refrigeration systems to ensure proper functioning and performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with refrigerants
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications:
- Valid 313A License (mandatory)
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights (if necessary)
- Own transportation (no bus)
- Strong customer communication skills
