Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $53.85 Hourly, for 35 Hours per week

Education: Completion of a college or university program in engineering or business administration is
required.
Experience: 5 years of experience are required
Languages: Written and Spoken English are required
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports to the General Manager.
Positions reporting to the operations manager are the Shop/Production Supervisor, Maintenance Technician,
Fabricators and General Labourers.
Duties:
• Plan, organize and manage the production of all IMS parts and products
• Manage, schedule, budget and coordinate the employee workforce in the production and shop areas
• Develop, adjust, and update policies and procedures as needed for effective operations and production
• Assess the financial, technical and operational requirements to produce orders, and generate estimates for
sales staff to use in quoting
• Manage risk within the operations department by identifying and addressing key concerns that may alter or
impact production plans and order fulfillment
• Oversee equipment repair and routine maintenance, including managing applicable staff and coordinating
with service vendors and technicians
• Recruit, onboard, and train new production employees
• Handle performance management and basic HR matters with support and direction from the General
Manager as needed
• Advise, liaise, and work collaboratively with all IMS departments including design, procurement, sales,
and shipping/receiving
• Assist in developing maintaining and reporting on annual budgets
• Contribute to the development of annual IMS strategic plans
• Work collaboratively with the IMS CEO and General Manager to support opportunities associated with the
IMS group of companies such as IMS yard rental functions

• Review, reconcile and report on estimated versus actual costs of completed orders
• Maintain and adhere to department budget
• Ensure that all production staff have access to safe work areas, tools, and resources needed to perform their
roles
• Ensure company procedures are being followed and IMS values are being adhered to by production
employees
