We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printing Press Operator to join our dynamic printing and manufacturing team. Responsibilities

• Operate Heat Press, Plotter, and DTF Print machines
• Transfer designs to garments, bags, accessories
• Setup digital printers and plotters to ensure accurate and high-quality output
• Monitor and oversee printing processes to ensure proper ink coverage, color accuracy, and print quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as necessary to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain inventory of printing supplies, including ink, paper, and substrates, and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required
• Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot any issues with artwork files and ensure compatibility with printing
• Advise press crew on product specifications or material requirement
• Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any maintenance performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in packaging finished products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.

Skills

• At least 1 year to less 2 years work experience as a Printing Press Operator with experience in operating Heat Press, Plotter, and DTF Print machines
• College/CEGEP graduate or with equivalent experience
• Competence in print production software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficient in the English language
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently
