Position Title: Nanny / Child Caregiver

 Business Location: Vancouver, BC B6J2H9

 Location of work: Work in employer's home in Vancouver, BC B6J2H9.

Major intersection: Vancouver, BC; W 16 Ave and Granville St

 

Job Description:

A loving and responsible family is seeking a dedicated and caring Nanny/Child Caregiver to provide attentive care and supervision for their children in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting the children's daily routines and overall well-being.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Ensure a safe and healthy home environment for the children.

Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities as needed.

Implement daily structure and routine in accordance with parental guidance

Maintain and encourage the children's personal hygiene and encourage social development

Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and outings.

Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Provide emotional support and promote a warm, caring atmosphere.

Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry and household tidying.

Take full responsibility for household operations in the absence of parents.

 

Employment Details:

 Hours: 30-40 hours per week (permanent, full-time)

Work Schedule: Mornings, daytime, and evenings; overtime if required.  Split days as required when children at school

Wage: $19 per hour

Location: Accessible via public transportation

 

Requirements:

 Education: High school diploma (or equivalent)

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 7 months of relevant experience

Language: English proficiency required

Criminal record check

 

Additional Information:

 Live-in and live-out options available (staff accommodation provided at no charge for live-in, but this is NOT a condition of employment).

Employer will cover relocation costs, if applicable.
