Brunco Insulation Ltd. located at 1290 Crestlawn Dr., Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 1A6, is seeking an experienced Plasterer to work at construction sites throughout Ontario. The Plasterer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing plaster and applying plaster to drywall for our renovation and repair projects.
This is a full-time, permanent position (30-40 hours/week), which is expected to start as soon as possible. The salary is $35.44/hour plus dental and vision care insurance.
The main responsibilities and duties of this position include:
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning
• Mixing plaster ingredients and adding fire-rated sealants
• Applying plaster to drywall openings and joints and repairing cracks or holes
• Finishing corners, angles, and edges with smooth, even coats
• Ensuring the plaster dries and cures properly
• Inspecting and repairing plaster surfaces as needed
• Coordinating with site construction management to meet deadlines and prepare for inspections
• Maintaining and cleaning plastering tools and equipment
• Following safety procedures and using required protective equipment
The following skills are required for this position:
• One (1) year work experience in general labour and construction maintenance
• Ability to work in high-rise construction projects and at heights
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Valid WHMIS training Certificate
• Valid 4 Steps Awareness training Certificate
• Valid Working at Heights training Certificate
• Valid Aerial Platform training Certificate
