JOB DESCRIPTION:
Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc. is hiring FULL-TIME AZ Long-Haul Truck Drivers to run inter-province & US runs. These are permanent full-time positions based out of its office located at 6086 Mayfield Road, Caledon, ON. The Long-Haul Truck Drivers will be expected to deliver Dry Van, Reefer and flatbed freight between Canada and the United States.
JOB DUTIES:
Operate & drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Drive as single driver or part of a two-person team.
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection.
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Load and unload goods.
Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
Driver's License (Class 1 or A) & Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Documentation Knowledge
Driver Logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Accident, or incident reports.
Transportation/Travel Information
Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight.
