Position: Door Installer
Main Duties:
-Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures specific to doors.
-Measure and mark guidelines to be used for door installations.
-Install, repair, and service interior and exterior doors.
-Ensure doors are aligned, level, and correctly fitted, making adjustments as necessary.
-Install door hardware such as hinges, locks, handles, and door closers.
-Perform finish work such as trimming and sealing to complete door installations.
-Assess and repair existing door structures and mechanisms to ensure proper operation and security.
-Collaborate with clients and other tradespeople to ensure seamless and accurate door installation and repair services.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
-Report any issues or challenges encountered during installations and provide feedback to supervisors or management regarding process improvements or customer feedback.
-Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time
-Work hours per week: 30 hours/week
-Wage: $28.39 hourly
-Benefits: 4% paid vacation
Requirement:
-Education requirements: completion of secondary school
-Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
-Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
