As a Office administrative assistant, the following duties must be performed:
Coordinate the flow of information within the team; Open and distribute mail and other materials; Establish and implement policies and procedures; Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences; Schedule and confirm appointments; Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages; Answer electronic enquiries; Compile data, statistics and other information; Order office supplies and maintain inventory; Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas; Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems; Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents; Provide customer service; Maintain and manage digital database
Employment Start Date: ASAP
Wage Rate: $ 29.50 per hour
Employment Type: Full – time, (40 hours per week) Permanent employment
Employment Duration: Term of 2 years
Work Location: Victoria, BC
Other requirements:
Language of work: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Relevant work experience 7 months to less than 1 year
Person should have working knowledge of Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Office, Electronic mail
