Job description:
LOCATION: 130 King St. W. Toronto, ON, M5X 2A2
SALARY: $34.50 per hour; full-time position (40 hours/week)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position involves assisting the management with product development, specifically:
- Planning, organizing and controlling the daily operations of the store and implementing all company operational procedures.
- Recruits staff and recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of staff.
- Handles training of staff in job duties, operational procedures, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Assigns, oversees and evaluates work.
- Organizes, completes and posts staff work schedules.
- Supervises food and beverage preparation to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Maintains inventory control systems and orders supplies and food ingredients.
- Deals with suppliers, negotiates delivery arrangements.
- Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
- Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
- Handles all customer service issues including resolving customer complaints, etc.
- Maintains business records, monitors revenues and performs daily closeout procedures on POS system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service industry but more specifically with hot and cold coffee/tea beverages & baked goods
- Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as solid track record of delivering timely results.
