Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Work on HVAC systems as needed, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute plumbing installations accurately.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for installation and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or in a similar role within the plumbing industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Certification or licensing as required by local regulations is preferred.
